Allan Ramsay Signs For Lochgelly
The Lochgelly band are pleased to announce the signing of Allan Ramsay.
The former CWS Glasgow top man will be filling in for the band on the solo cornet rank. In a distinguished career Allan has won the Scottish Solo Championship and was also part of the CWS Glasgow band that captured the National Championship trophy in 1990. Allan's signing completes a very busy transfer window for the Fife band in the run up to the Scottish Championships.
Band spokesman John Martin said “We are very grateful to Allan for giving up his time in what is probably the busiest week of the year in order to help us out. Although Allan is only helping us out for this contest his signing is indicative of the ambition this band has”.
