I can't describe how old that makes me feel to admit that. Previous band is the Ancient Order of Forseters band (now Foresters Brass 2000 or something)

Been with Wigan Youth Band since it started 6/7 years but now have to leave because of Uni :-(. Been with several other bands but not as long as Wigan!

have been playing Eb & Bb bass for campbeltown brass for 16 yrs now, played with Broxburn Public while I was at college 1995/96, good bunch! Oh & Ive done 10yrs of NYBBS courses, quite alot of drink consumed over the years & had alot of fun!!

So true - had been with my previous band all my banding life up 'til then (20 years - scary) and learnt loads - have alot to thank the band for (my husband and music degree to name but two ) but now so pleased I moved on.

Been playing now for a year and half! If someone would have told me this time 18 months ago that I'd be sat in front of the PC spending days at a time on a brass band forum I'd av peed meself!

Only been with Chichester band for about 1 year. before that I was sunning myself in Gibraltar for a few years!

Was at hebden bridge for three months then moved back to liverpool, before that was at emley just as sporadically because of uni, before that was at huddersfield brass for three years (i remember cause i did three areas then went to uni), Then before that its all a blur

I've been with St Agnes for about 10 years now . Unfortunately I'm going to have to leave in a couple of years time, when (and if) I go off to uni ...I'm sure I'll be back for the Christmas and Summer engagements though !

Our current conductor started off on the back row during the mid-late 1960s, moving up through the ranks to become condutor in 1990 - now that's commitment!!
