In Memory - 30 years on

If you have a Concert this weekend how about incouding a tune from "Oliver" in memory of the musicians from the Fist Battalion Royal Green Jackets who died in the Regents Park bombing 30 years ago today.
I was on another London bandstand at the time - it could so easily have been different.
They were playing a selection from Oliver when the bomb went off.

30 years? I'm getting old. Tough times, I responded to too many bombings back in those days. Having to shoot injured horses in the street at one.
Blow in the little end. Noise comes out the Big end.
    Simples !

How time flies - I was a pupil at KH with one of those killed and Dave Little, the MD, was a student bandmaster at the same time. If you read this Dave, I trust you are well.
