How much would you pay for a custom arrangement for your band?

Hi, I was just wondering what the going rate is to have, say, a choir piece arranged for brass band.

Really depends who you go to to have it done - I know some people who'd say 'sling us £30 and a pint and I'll be happy', while if you went to a well-established composer/arranger, you'd be potentially looking at a LOT more than that!

You also have to consider what exactly you're asking for. If it's a 2 minute, fairly simple choral work, you'll be charged a lot less than if it's a 16 part harmony, 15 minute choral rollercoaster
