New Brass Band Possibility - Stockport Area

New Brass Band - Stockport I have just recently added a new post for interested players for a new brass band in the Stockport Area - the response has been excellent with about 15 players showing interest already (cornets, baris, bass's, euphs, troms and horns) Looking to leave post open a few more days then arrange a meeting with interested players. Looks like possibility of use of band library and stands. Cant be bad. So, if your interested, give me a call and we can put you on the invite list - Steve

It is ironic that at the moment of writing this reply, this thread was immediately above the "too many bands and not enough players" thread.

Yep lol, but it shows people are interested, Ive had an amazing number of positive replies and interest. So, bring it on. Think a number of smaller bands (as in low number of players) are very interested in the opportunity of enjoying a new "full band" with the excitement of the bands possibilities. If that is the case then all is well !!!

Latest Update - Got another bass player and cornet. Looking really good now. Band will be called "Cheshire Brass" Looks like we will have a full band library, stands and possibly some spare instruments. Also looking to have an open rehearsal in next few weeks to see if we can get a few more players to come down other than those shown an interest already. Mind you we seem to be getting more enquiries every day - which is great news. I will keep you all posted. Any new viewers here that might be interested, please give us a call, all welcome Steve
