I run a youth military band and have been aware of the military bands have been making it mandatory for musician to wear hearing protection whilst playing.
What do brass bands and indeed those who run youth brass do about ensuring that high decibel levels are not damaging to young peoples hearing.
It has been raised as a concern by a young person's parent as the lad now has tinatus.
