Spring Festival Grand Shield

With the test pieces and the list of bands that have entered, it looks like quite an exciting evewnt, to be sure.

Test pieces are:

Grand Shield: Peter Graham's, 'On the Shoulder of Giants'.

Martin Ellerby's 'Elgar Variations' for the Senior Cup

Martin Ellerby's 'Chivalry', for the Senior Trophy.

Two compositions from the pen of Martin Ellerby and one from Peter Graham. This looks like a tour de forcefor bands taking part. Be interesting to see what Paddy Flower makes of the odds!
