[QUOTE=Chris Hicks;812793 it's a piece that quickly grows boring to play[/QUOTE]
Blimey - you've got it mastered then? Not sure a piece like this will ever get boring to play for me - so much music to find in it. Like a Beethoven or Mozart - not sure they can ever be boring to play. Not that I'm suggesting P. Graham is Mozart. Either that or it's because I can't play it note perfect yet!

I don't know about having it mastered Nick!! Just find it boring when almost half the piece is just repeated again. I think it's like most test pieces though, because you put so much time in to rehearsing them it's more boredom due to playing it so much, as supposed to the actual piece being boring. I love listening to this piece, just i've become bored of playing it!
See you on the weekend, looking forward to it all!
£500 on Drighlington please
Yup, understand where you're coming from with the repeated bit. See you on Sat! Cheers,
N. Garman
Ooh the juices are flowing, can't wait for tomorrow, my favourite weekend's contesting of the lot
As bands up and down the land wait for their respective coaches outside their respective bandrooms, time for the final prices. Best of luck to everyone involved especially in The Grand Shield where you will hear more than one whistled rendition of The Great Escape...
