I'd like to second that nominations do not seconding, and nominate Chunky's thread on how tMP could be improved. It had a significant amount of merit until it was hijacked.

I'd also like to nominate the L&SC 2008 Regionals thread, as it showed that it is possible to look back on a contest and not whinge about results and adjudication.

I'd like to nominate Chunky's thread, 'Why do people repeat information already posted?'

By far the daftest, most pointless thread in the history of internet forums (as it turned out). But incredibly entertaining throughout nevertheless. And it's still going.................

Finally, to paraphrase Mark Twain. Its better not to post on tMP and be thought of as a sausage, than to post on tMP and prove it.

Yep sure did sparke some wonderful debate - although the credit i think goes to the piece rather than the thread? if that makes sense.

I a year when we've debated the lack of players in banding and had to chew the fat on several bands calling it a day. this thread is deserving of a vote - it's a real feel good one!
