Brilliant in the 3rd section they've managed to preidict all 8 bands in there somewhere!! What a piece of sitting on the fence that is.

Well, here we are again coming up to the Northern Area Regional Contest, I know I was never much good at Geography but the Northern Area seems to stretch from our friends up in Northumberland to way down to our friends in Lincolnshire..!!!..is there no area contest nearer for such bands....like may I respectfully suggest ...perhaps the Yorkshire Area... (ps...not for our friends up North)...?

If you go back about 15 years the East yorks lot were in the yorkshire areas - they booted us out because they were too full and we have been travelling to Darlington ever since (And what a lovely bunch they are up in the North East too! )

Have just been reading the 4BR articles about your region. I reckon you're in for a good weekend. You've certainly got some high profile M.D's in your top section - will be interesting to see the results.

Some good test pieces this year so come on you north easteners - finish the regionals off on a high note.

To my disgust I've just noticed that the swimming pool is shut on Sunday - thanks very much Dolphin Centre. That's the only bit I look forward to, especially with this contest piece. I shall take to the stage in my speedos in protest.

A couple of gaffs in the 4th section - we didn't have a solid 7th last year, we came 7th and last in the 3rd section and got relegated!

And Stanhope have been accused of drug taking: "they were doping with regularity before their break"

Still love it to bits though.

The point I was making was that anyone without an interest in the north east, would be interested.
