    Please nominate who - in your opinion - has produced the best new piece of music and should be the recipient of 'tMP Musician Award' for the last 12 months.

    I have a restricted choice this year (not heard a much as I should have) so apologies to the likes of Mr. Sparke. I nominate Pete Meechan's Requiem Paraphrases for euph. although I feel the accompaniment with orch. brass instruments juxtaposes the soloist a little better than band ones.

    Thank you Lou, the cheque's in the post! However I should confess that that the mentioned work isn't actually eligible, being written and premiered last year
