What can a band do in leeds of a night

I was just wondering if any of our members from "Up North" could give a few tips on where and what a band could do in september, in Leeds of an evening? With three cornish bands in the same hotel that night ie post harrogate, the obvious use of a local hostelry comes to mind, but any suggestions of suitable band sized eating venue would be good.

The lovely people from Leeds Uni Band took us (Uni of Warwick Band) to the curry buffet when we visited. Can't remember where it was or what it was called, but I certainly enjoyed it!

You'll be spoilt for choice - Leeds is now one megga city in the fast lane !!
Eateries to suit all tastes along with the best bars, clubs and entertainment centres abound.
Leeds entertains several trainloads of clubbers every weekend from London and other major cities who stay over in some of the finest hotels in the country to enjoy the facilities on offer.

I take it that you are staying at the Jurys Inn Leeds?

If so the chinese buffet is not far from there and is called "number 1 oriental buffet"

Something to do with selling the pasties as "cornish" in leeds?

Apparently they are actually made in cornwall tho and then they just (magically) travel to there destination, so i guess that does make them cornish? Well i was still cornish when i was in yorkshire! .......and now im talking cr*p so i will stop!

There are two Bowling Alleys.
One is in the Merrion Centre which is right in the middle of town.
The other is the L.A. Bowl which is about 1/2 mile from the middle of town.

any decent places to go for a good night out say a club depending on the result after the competition in leeds. Newbridge band staying at the leeds bradford airport.

there is a spice mania and wok mania, both are buffet style but will fit in a brass band or two.
