Hi experts does anyone know where I can get hold of cheap bass stands, apparently there are 2 types one to rest on while your playing and one to hold the instrument. I am interested in both

We got a bass stand from Normans recently for around £70 including postage (don't know if that's cheap or not!) Being a cornet player, I have to admit that I'm not sure what type it is, but it looks like the bass is resting on it rather than being held.Originally Posted by satchmo shaz

A friend of ours made all the bass stands for our band and also mute holders - he is a skilled craftsman and I know he was looking at starting this as a side line. If you are interested pm me and I will help you get in touch with him.
