Just a quick note to say good luck to everyone competing at the areas next weekend. Especially the New Craghead Colliery Band. Hopefully they will be as successful as the original team and it brings them many contest wins.
I just hope the organisers for the open and masters dont get too confused and send them our invites.
Best Of Luck Everyone
Hugs and kisses.

not that it matters at all in the slightest... but wor conductor (wansbeck ashington, 2nd section) is actually spelt N Stedman.
As to burning images- fab idea!!!
Choose band. Choose bars. Choose more bars. Choose visiting all those bars in one night and waking up next to a complete stranger. Choose TMP. Choose a name. Choose staying up all night talking to random people. Choose to increase your alcohol tolerance.
Choose your future. Choose band life.
I think the standard of the test pieces (i.e. well hard) in the middle sections has taken its toll on the entries this year.
Don't worry you'll not be alone - I'm on missionary duties at East Riding of Yorkshire Band!Originally Posted by ploughboy

.....have I missed something here?
....I've just realised something too. I had exactly the same facial hair last year as I do this year.
I guess I'm scared to shave it in case it doesnt grow back![]()

Aye, best of luck to BHK Horden Uk ltd....... et cetera.... band - I'm making this post because I feel really guilty due to the fact that I was unable to attend the practice tonight and really fancied a bit practice at the testpiece.
