    Help neded to post photo!!

Can anyone tell me how to put a photo from my computer onto my profile? Tried all different formats but can't find one that is required. I have a new computer so would expect it to have all up to date 'formats'. Noticed lots of you have photos on your profile so I must be doing something wrong!!

    Hi,

Firstly welcome to the wonderful world of tMP!

You should be able to add a photo to your user profile easily enough - if you go to your user CP (by clicking the button on the menu bar) and then "edit profile picture" on the menu on the left hand side you then "add a photo from your computer" browse and pick the file you want. I think you can add pretty much any image file (usually a .jpg), provided it is less than 100x100 pixels or 64Kb in size. If you need to resize your image to fit then you will need to do it through graphic editting programs like photoshop or paintshop pro.

You can also add a photo as your avatar - again through your user CP. But the avatar images must be less than 80x80 or 19.5Kb.

    Hope this helps.

A big thank you to Ian for your help. As you can see I have managed to work out how to transfer my photo. Mind you, looking at it, it possibly wasn't such a good idea.

    Thank anyway.
