I have just bought an LMI cornet. Handmade to perfection. Sounds great and looks stunning. Takes a while for them to build one for you but the finished article is great.

Oh dear, I hope you lack of enthusiasm for this piece doesn't rub off on the rest of the band.
This could quite easily affect the finished performance if you’re all feeling suicidal?...
CD usually available as the pieces are announced....after this weekend.
Thanks the lord in our case!!!
Now we've all had a chance to play through the peice. What do we all think???
I once dated a tenor horn but she cheated on me with one of the other cornets!
I have a long model Bb cornet. great instrument the laquer is a bit untidy but it blows a dream! Sits in my cupboard at home would be willing to sell if anyone wants to offer me something for it?
Oh apparently they didn't qualify due to a late withdrawal in our section!! Sounds a bit unfair :(
Hey Paddy you missed Littleport competing from L&SC area.
Where is the Albert hall???
Well done John for your Double win!!! lol didn't realise you were conducting zone one too?? Pretty good going as they were both playing at the same time.... :tup
L&SC Has been on mothersday for as long as I can remember. (I'm only 8 though so not that long!)
Looks nice and I do need a new Trumpet but sadly I only have £600 to spend. How flexible is the price?
Do you know what model no it is?? Aslo any idea what bore size it is?
Thanks for your responces guys!
good question, not really sure as it is the band who's paying! I need to get some idea of costs and let the chairman know! (he'll probably read this post soon enough though!! lol)
I need a new Flugel as mine is naff and the valves keep sticking! I think it's beyond an overhaul as the third valve is bent and has caused damage to the inside of the valve casing.Does anyone have...
looks nice but sadly i've only got £1500 to spend. Taylor Trumpets are made just down the road from where i live. They are excellent!!!
Whats your reserve?
I find that flutter tounging is all to do with the tip of your tongue, if you stick your tongue out, is it pointed or rounded?I am unfortunate enough to have a rounded tongue and I can not flutter...
Should be a good concert! looking forward to it already!!
Thunersley also got best bass section! That's all the news I have.
Apart from there were 5 champion chip bands competing!
I heard thundersley won the first section!
