I don't use a gig bag it only stays in the hard case it came with and is never stood on its bell for prolonged periods ... Only during break at rehearsal kinda thing. Really frustrating...

have you tried the round stamps... because i really cannot say they are any...

well i play on a dw 0 after an extensive search for a mouthpiece about 4 years ago. lets just say it took about a year to get fully adapted to but now i find it brilliant.

the dennis wick 4 is seen as most as "the standerd" euphonium mouthpiece, although you should try a range of mouthpieces, models and sizes and find one which suits you.

did my grade 5 when i was 11 on a 3 valve 600 too :) amazing instrument haha
moved onto one of the newley made soverigns after that
