About B.Portas

Biography:

I'm a student at Hull University, studying music, after playing guitar (electric, bass, acoustic and classical) for over 10 years. My fiancee is an amazing tenor horn and cornet player, who got me hooked on brass, by teaching me a few pieces on her instrument. So hooked, that I bought an old Boosey and Hawkes baritone, and had a friend fix it up, earlier this year, and played almost constantly since.

I have recently picked up euphonium, which I have decided to pursue as my main instrument, and there's no looking back now! I'm looking to get through my ABRSM grades too, this year too.
