- Birth through to age 10 - My parents played for a number of years and are still playing
age 10 to present - Learnt to play on the horn under the guidance of Doug Carlin of Shirland, then once I started big school couldn't be bothered to carry the case so changed to cornet. Had lessons with many fine teachers and players including - K Dye, C Massell, G Hawley
Played at loads of contest and 5 national finals and also at the World Finals Kerkarde, Holland.
Played at Shirland, Bestwood and Blidworth.
Top man at Blidworth, I've welcomed the challenge and task ahead with the super support from both the MD and band.
