Andrew Mackereth, of Blow and Believe publications has a range of straightforward music, graded according to ability. Check out the website:

I think you'll find the First Blow series could be handy. I think the composer or editor of this is Ernie Whaites and its published by Studio Music. There are 3 levels of difficulty, but even the top one is still quite elementary. Try Mostyn Music as well, think they've got quite a bit of stuff.
Hope this helps.

Try my web site at http://www.francisclifford.com
There is a lot of music on the site that you can see and listen to before you buy. There is even a number of scores that you can print yourself for free. Please let me know what you think of it.
"Preliminary Band Book" by Stuart Johnson, available for R.Smith is not too bad. Some easy useable tunes. Starts with little pieces about 3 or 4 bars long, and finishes with a short suite.
His followup book, "Intermediate Band Book" is a bit of a jump though.
Suggest something like his "Old Castle Suite" is a better next step.
I can reccomend the Jock Mackenzie series of books, they are excellent for beginners.
