Hi Folks,

Further to the 'provisional' booking for the tMP Band to Play at this years Pontins Contest I've just received official confirmation that we are now 'Officially' performing.


Yes, we can now confirm that you may perform on Saturday 30th October 2004 at about 7 - 7.30 p.m. in the main Ballroom as part of the evening programme.
I'm still waiting for an answer on the Sunday's performance.

On an earlier thread someone said "if you're playing at Pontins and your name's on the list, you're in"

I'm not already playing at Pontins, I'm just going for tMP, does this mean I'm in or out?!

I will do my best to find somewhere to stay on saturday night coz my band isnt going till the sunday morning!! If i dont make the saturday one could i still play on the sunday if there is one??

Ps. i will still try to find out if a friend going can put me up on saturday night or any nearby B&B

Good news received from Frank Hodges/Pontins today.

The tMP Band will also be playing on the Sunday for a duration of about 15 minutes before the announcement of the Championship results.

I would make it BUT we are playing at DULWICH on Saturday and the test piece for Championship Section 'Dances&Arias' is not one of my favorites to listen to.:-(
