Here is a list of some brass & percussion instruments:
Cornet
Trumpet
Soprano
Flugel Horn
Tenor Horn
French Horn
Baritone
Euphonium
Bass
Side Drum
Bass Drum
Hi-hat
Each housemate must come up with a different sentence formed of the initial letters of those items - and each sentence must be RELEVANT to the topic i.e. Brass Banding.
For example:
CORNET (Conical Object, Rather Nice, Exquisite Tone)
Each housemate - 2nd man down, homicidalbennyboy, seedhouse, super_sop & kitten - must post their sentences in this thread by 10pm tomorrow night.
Enjoy,
BB.
Oooo, my first task! I can do this! I can do this!
I'm so excited!
Can I phone a friend?
Can I ask the audience?
Cornet Corny over rated. Never elegant tunes.
Trumpet Tinny, raucus unpleasant, mute please every time!
Soprano squeeky orrible pointless rather annoying nasty object!
Flugel Horn Fine lovely, unusual gloriously elegant lyricist. High on range normally.

French Horn Flipping ridiculous european nasty crappy horn. Has orchestral roots normally
Baritone Being alto ranged, instrument tuneful only never eard.
Euphonium Ever underestimated pair having only notes in upward motion.
Bass Boring as sin, seriously
Side Drum snared instrument, decisively exact. Driving rythym under MD.
Bass Drum Banged always, serious sound. Dynamic Range usually modest.

dear BB
ecan you confirm that you wanted this sentance to be brass band related, the example you gave is instrument related not Brass Band related.

dear s_s
seeing as it's an instrument in a Brass Band we'l lclass it as being Brass Band related.

Hello BB, I have a busy day tomorrow as I have rehearsals most of the day, and then a school concert in the morning.
However I will still do the task, but I may have a problem getting it posted online- I will try my best to get it online.
If I can't get online, can I send it to someone to post it on for me, or can we have a slight extension to 12pm- lunchtime the next day pleeeeeease?

Yay! Found time in school (a few hours it has taken me! ) to complete the deadline on time, rather than within my extension (thanks for giving it to me anyway BB!  )
Took a lot of time and effort, and my brains in overload, but anyway:
Cornet - Calm Only Random, Not Easily Tuned!
Trumpet - Trashy, Rotten. Upper Middle Pitch, Easily Tuneful!
Soprano - Sounds Operatic, Pleasant Ranged, Always Nearly OK!
Flugel Horn - Flourishingly Lavish, Under Gracious Embouchure Lips. Has Other Recognised Niceties!
Tenor Horn Tantalisingly, Extremely Nice, Over Rainbows- Heard Occasionally, Rarely Nicely!!!
French horn Fascinatingly Rubbish, Extremely Not Childish, Horrifically Overly Retarded Notes!
Baritone Baritone Are, Really, Interesting. Terrifically Often Nearly Elegant!
Euphonium Exuberant Upper Pitches, However Only Normal, Is Unusually Moving!
Bass - Booming And Seriously Sexy!
Side Drum Slick, Ideally Diametrically Extravagant, Dangerous, Robust, Under Maintenance!
Bass Drum Basically Always Satanic Sounding, During Random Unusual Movements!
Hi-hat Hit Irritably, Hard And Terribly!
Hope that's ok  (it best be! :( )

BB would like to congratulate the housemates on an excellent task. There are some super sentences on offer there. However, quite a few liberties have been taken. BB was prepared to overlook these as long as the instruments were spelt properly.

With this in mind, would Seedouse please explain to BB what a 'French Orn' or a 'Frenc Horn' is?
French horn Fascinatingly Rubbish, Extremely Not Childish, Horrifically Overly Retarded Notes!
Perhaps you should have taken advatnage of BB's generosity in allowing you an extension Seedhouse? As a result of asking for an extension - and ignoring it - no more concessions are to made to any housemate in any future tasks.
Therefore, BB is sad ;) to say that the housemates have failed this task.
Your forfeit will take the form of a quiz and is to be posted soon. However, there will be a reward on offer if housmates manage to complete the quiz. A reward I am sure that will make 'most of you' want to pass the quiz! ;)

:o I don't believe that! Maybe it was wrong, but ONE MISTAKE causing a failure! :(
Come on BB!
I'm really sorry guys! :( I hope you forgive me! I didn't realise i'd made the mistake
I'll try to make it up to you all somehow...
Don't worry Seedy, it was a grand effort, with only one little slip and BB is EVIL for failing you.
We forgive you. :D
Or do we?
