Flugel Horn, 1st April - 4th April, Emley Brass Band

Due to a family illness in the band we have had to have a reshuffle for our upcoming trip to the Isle of Man. We are looking for a Flugel player to join us on what promises to be great fun filled weekend.

The band are travelling out in two groups (depending on being able to take friday off work). Either . . .

Friday 1st April leaving Emley 8am. or
Saturday 2nd April leaving Emley 11am.

Returning on Monday 4th April for around 6pm.

Accommodation is B&B for the weekend.
All the above costs will be covered by the band.

Whilst in the IOM we are going to enjoy the local sights, sounds and public houses. On Sunday the 3rd we are taking part in the IOM Festival of Music, the Brass classes are on Sunday evening, we do not need to register so we can take a player from any section. We are playing in three separate sections, Test Piece, March & Hymn and Entertainment.

We obviously have quite a bit of work to do and we'd like someone who can come along to a rehearsal (mon (tonight) wed, mon, wed, thur).

And we should probably have said that being quite flexible you wouldn't have to be a flugel player, we can just as easily accommodate another front row cornet instead.

Yep, and if you're from outside Yorkshire (it's not your fault, erm, I mean . . .) we have a rehearsal on the Thursday evening before leaving on the Friday you would be welcome to our hospitality overnight . . .
