University of Durham's (http://www.dur.ac.uk/)Brass Band in Residence, the Ever Ready Band (http://www.btinternet.com/~er.band/)- Musical Director Ray Farr (http://www.dur.ac.uk/ray.farr/)- are appearing in a special concert as part of the University's inaugural Band in Residence Concert Series.

Programme:

Tveitt: 100 Folksongs from Hardanger (guest vocal soloist Natalie Farr)
Golland: Euphonium Concerto (soloist Paul Robinson)
Wilby: Paganini Variations

Taking place at Elvet Methodist Church, Durham City, on Saturday 28th February at 7.00pm.

Tickets £5 (concessions £4) are available at the door.

This concert is the fourth in a series of six given by the University of Durham’s Brass Band in Residence, Ever Ready, who will be joined by a variety of local bands, soloists and conductors.
