I heard Stanhope on Radio 1 news today. Something about a car floating in a river. Is that the one you all walk across for that concert? It's all happening in Stanhope; cars in rivers, corn beef pies......

Thats the place Igg, the wazzocks attempted to cross the ford when it was in full flood. They were delivering a kitchen in the dale, were swept off the ford , and down river. They were choppered out of the van,which is bobbing away as we speak, complete with someones new kitchen on board!!
Now theres an insurance claim!.
Indeed the locals gathered round, eating the traditional, cornbeef pie to watch the spectacle!!
