:D Competition Time! :D
The Area Qualifying Championships kick off next weekend with the Midlands and Yorkshire Areas.
So let’s have a bit of fun.
Here is the list of Bands and Conductors that are appearing in the Championship Section at Bradford on Sunday 2nd March.
The Test Piece is Prague written by Judith Bingham and the Adjudicator is Goff Richards.
All you have to do is select the six bands that you think will be placed in the first six places. (starting with the winners and finishing with 6th place)
Rules:
You can only post once.
No entries will be accepted after 8.00 a.m. on the day of the contest.

Tricky one this, as I'm very obviously biased!.........so, I'm going to list my top 6 as if my band wasn't playing at all! (Which obviously we are....!).

Is anyone actually going to listen at the yorkshire areas. Other than the guys playing. Would anyone want to put themselves through 15 perfomances of Prauge. Plus the oter sections on top.
Perhaps there could be a themouthpiece.com corner in the bar.
Probably a large corner with plenty of noise.

Well that it folks - results now in and competition closed.
The Results for the Championship Section in Bradford were as follows:

2. ASDA Stockbridge
3. Sellers
4. Rothwell

6. Yorkshire Building Society.
Having scrutinised all the entries we have NO winners - which is a pity, because the prize was £500.
Most people had presumed Black Dyke would be in the frame but unfortunately they came 3rd from last!! (13th out of 15) - Oh Dear!

Unfortunately, we didn't qualify, B&R, Stocksbridge and Dyke (pre-qualified) qualified. Still very happy with 3rd though! :) :)
