Nice line-up CB. Would be interested to hear that, though at this distance chances are slim.. What are you playing?

Cheers

Hi, I'm the one on euphonium.

Using the soprano gives us a good top range without stetching a B flat cornet and is useful on Baroque items etc.

Flugel is a good lead and mixes well with the baritone in its upper register.

The baritone itself is the individual voice of the group !

Euph. obviously gives that centre core of brass band sound with the tuba mostly scored down the bottom octave.

I have added a tenor horn on some pieces in the past as well.

Regards, Charley.

Hi, I'm the one on euphonium.

Regards, Charley.

Guessed that! When I asked what you were playing I was thinking more of repertoire...

But best of luck with the gig, and send my love to Slough...
