Hi Pierre

Glad to have you onboard tMP - looking forward to reading all your posts.

Do post as much as you require, that's what we are here for, however, can I politely ask you not to SHOUT... :) when posting. All-CAPS posts very often prove difficult to read and are also sometimes seen as "non-web-etiquette"...

I'm sure you understand yeah!!!!

Thanks

John

The East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band wish to appoint a top class Euphonium player to join our talented Euphonium/Baritone section, to play 2nd Euphonium to Liz Grosvenor on Solo Euphonium.

This is a rare opportunity to join this Hull based Championship section band, under our Musical Director - Jim Davies.

Highlights on the calendar include recording a new CD, working with Professor Philip Wilby on a major new commission, concert and contest work, and a tour of Holland in May 2007.

As well as being a very hard working Band, EYMS is also a very social band (Visit our website gallery to see the proof www.eymsbrassband.co.uk (http://www.eymsbrassband.co.uk) ). We rehearse Sunday and Wednesday evenings near the centre of Hull, with easy access from the M62/A63 and from Lincolnshire via the A15 Humber Bridge.

If you are interested, please email eymsbrassband@yahoo.co.uk or P.M.

The East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band enter the New Year requiring two players to complete our line up.

Following Steve Rudhall's return to New Zealand (as if he couldn't get all that sun, sailing, sheep, and sangria in Hull) we require a first class Principal Cornettist. And our kit drummer has joined the local constabulary, so misses a fair bit as he bashes villains instead of his drums, so we would like to recruit a kit drummer to join the rest of this established (and prize winning) section.

The Band rehearses in Hull, on Wednesday (1945) and Sunday (1915) evenings. Hull may look as if it is out on a limb, but it is very easy and quick to get to. The Bandroom is next to the A63, which is the main road into Hull and also links to the M62 and Humber Bridge.

We have a busy programme of concerts and contests for 2008, working with our Musical Director Jim Davies. We also have a busy programme of curries, and beer planned - we work hard, and play as hard as we can to remain under the drink drive limit.

If you are interested in either of these positions please PM the Band, or email eymsbrassband@yahoo.co.uk
