Neat start, and super sop!! Nice bell canto effects...Gorgeous Euphonium, glorious sound (but you know I know that eh)

4/4 section well played... Euph solo well played... very tight playing from all the band in this opening section.

Sop Solo: well played, some minor blips, but great production, well supported by rest of band. Super Euph - again...

Good dynamic contrast in next section - but it is difficult when I don't have a score to refer to sorry.

Cornet Solo well played, though some tuning on lower cts is heard. Flugel slightly sharp! Cornet - well played on your solo line... you sustain the top notes wonderfully... nice one :tup

Next Section: good tight start... cornet ensemble well controlled, percussion slightly too loud... Basses well supported, nice big full sound forming superb foundation. Good bell effect... excellent dynamic, you have a wonderful range, slower 6/8 (or is it 12/8 - no score) section very mellow... excellent sounds closing here... lovely chords and huge sound to close.

very well played... must be in with a shout of a podium placing there...

We have offered our opinion of the bands performance based on the music, and on what we hear; and not on the technicalities of notes and other musical markings in the score etc.

Please don't be offended if you don't agree with what we write. This will simply be a combination of a report of our opinions on how we felt the performance went on the day, and of what's happening at the contest.

Please feel free to add your comments and your scores based on what you heard but please remember to keep these constructive and within the spirit of tMP and our guidelines. :)
