Sorry, but eeeuuu, nasty sticky stuff. Love peanuts, butter is ok in the right places (bread, jacket potatoes etc), but TOGETHER .....??

Same really with nuts and chocolate. Love nuts, absolute chocoholic, but mix 'em? Not for me. :(

I think I must have a peanut butter allergy. I generally have to leave the room if anyone opens a jar.

How can you guys eat anything that smells quite so rancid?

Disgusted of Harrogate.

yeah, peanut butter toasties are awesome, after a while, all the peanut butter gets really warm and oozes out of the sides and all over your t-shirt (if you happen to have a food-goes-in-mouth problem, like myself)

It just has to be Crunchy with loads of strawberry jam on top. (Discovered that one in America):!:

Havent had it for years though, perhaps a trip to the supermarket is called for!

Yes, but we still spell it "butter." Had no clue that the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich (or "PB &J") was exclusively american, thought you lot were responsible for sandwiches..... BTW, we don't usually add butter in addition to the Peanut Butter, and Grape jelly is probably most common, strwberry jam probably second. (crusts optional)

I'm not allergic to peanuts, but they are certainly not my choice! Oddly enough, I don't mind them so much in cooking - chicken satay etc - but when Revels first came out, I would always make sure I saved an orange or toffee one till last to take away the taste of the coconut (not toooo bad) or peanut (yuck) ones

Has to be crunchy, every time!

Love it with marmite, jam, or chocolate spread (NOT all together!).....but my fave way to eat it is
Bread
Butter
Cheddar
Peanut Butter
Jam (pref. Rasberry)
Butter
Bread

:D Really not as gross as it sounds, I promise!

I don't know about the jam option but marmite, chocolate spread and peanut butter is a fantastic combination in a sandwich (like eating a snickers ......but with marmite)

Hmm I like bovril but not marmite. Think we should leave the subjet on peanut butter though, because the Mods will pounce on us if we're not careful.
