was just reading the favourite friends topic trying to put off going to Quantum Mechanics ( eurgh ), and thought, who's everyone's favourite friends character?
mine's got to be joey, very closely followed by chandler!

I (like neiltwist) am a scientist. I can't stand Ross (even though I actually get some of his Paleontology jokes). Matt LeBlanc (Joey) is the best. I hope his show is coming to the UK this fall.
(BTW neiltwist - as far as I am concerned, anything to put off Quantum physics is a good idea!!)

It's the best show ever to come out of the US.

One of the funniest moments is visual, where Ross and Ben throw a shop window dummy down the stairs to play a prctical joke on Rachel after she'd tought Ben how to play tricks on everyone else...her reaction had me laughing for hours!!

Agree in a way, I think when it first started it was good, but I got a bit sick of, this is the last series, no this is the last series! It went on for too long and it does seem like Channel 4 use Friends repeats to fill any slot
I don't like it either (didn't dare say before in fear of being attacked by thousands of friends fans) It's all too american for me, and really not very funny!

On a humour point of view has got to be Joey.
Rachel is also a favourite but for a completely different reason!!
Still no-one for Ross eh?
I've never been able to chose between Rachel/Monica/Phoebe. They all appeal to me differently and I suppose my perfect woman would be a combination of all three.
I've always fancied Courtney Cox the most though. I love her :)
And Jennifer Aniston too. And Lisa Cudrow. Hell, I'll have all three </not greedy>
