Just wondering if any of our TMPers will be making the journey to Glasgow for the "Inaugral" **** up that will be the Scottish Open.
Just to get an idea of who I can scrounge beer off :lol:

No scrounging off us though, poor students!

I'll be making the trip up for a few pints, and I promise to go and listen to some bands :roll: I like paganini though, so will probably make the effort :D
I will be there as my pal is conducting....must be there to support him and Bo-Ness. Will also be there to give Helen and Fodens a cheer as well. :wink:

I will be flying up from Cardiff with my band to sing to you all instead of playing Paganini :P :P :P
Will be there along with tuba girl seen as were in the same band (BTM) can't wait for it to be honest, i loves paganini not as good as the devil though!!! see you all there!!!!!!!! :D
What do you mean i can't scrounge beer off students? When I was a student I was far more generous with my beer funds than I am now.
Yes,Kay and I are both ex Westies, so she might be able to redcognise me in the bar (Although I've got a little emmm......plumper shall we say since the last time I saw her) I'll make sure I look out for Sellars, sounds like they'll be the party band :twisted:

Will be there. Should be a good day. Shame is on a Sunday and not Saturday though-long trip back and work the next day=v. tired, no hangover obviously!

I will be going along to listen and then going to gala concert in the evening. Will only take me 20mins to get home :lol:
Party at Floral Dances house then. I've got a good 45 mins home, but I'm sure I can make a night of it all, don't know if I'll make the gala concert tho :shock:

I will be there, alongside Tuba Girl and Jordan. Can't wait to compete in Scotland again, last time I competed in Scotland was at Falkirk in the 2nd section on Salford Sinfonnietta (1994)!!!!

I've had the 'pleasure' of Stewart in the band for over 12 months now and I'm still trying to work out what he says! I know there was something about Jonny Wilkinson not having a dad on Sunday but besides that its all a mystery to me!

Aye Tricky, our Stewart is a special breed alright.
And to think, his vocabulary was exactly the same when he was 12 as it is now, how he managed to get through English classes is beyond me :wink:

Honest I don't know who is palying when but will be cheering for all of you.
I have to look out for the percussionist in Besses and the back row cornet player so tell them to look out for me as well. :roll:
Will give maybe a little bit of extra cheer for Bo-Ness 'cause my pals conducting them, but don't mind who wins..................... as long as they r Scottish :wink:

Well hopefully I will manage to hear you. I am arriving at Queen St station at 12.15 and have one of our band who is studying in Glasgow coming to meet me.
Promised him a drink if he took me to the concert hall. Don't think he will want a coffee or tea though. :lol:
Looking forward to two and a half hours of nothing to do on the train. Bliss.
Hope he hasn't used the F word too much at rehearsals!!!!!!!

Yeh he is and we are jolly lucky to have as MD.
Don't think many of our band realise how good he is.
Glad they both decided to move up hear to retire otherwise we not have had him as MD and wouldn't have had Rita as a pal.
Good team they are :wink:

Definatly! He lifts the band so so much, and improves us in everyway! Yes, great team they are! You guys are so lucky to have him as MD, fantastic man! Really looking forward to tomorrow, will be such a great day! :lol:
