In celebration of the 7th anniversary of The Brass Crest (http://www.brasscrest.com/), we are pleased to announce the launch of
The ERRATA PROJECT (http://www.brasscrest.com/errata/)
The purpose of the Errata Project is to build a searchable database of errata for Salvation Army band music. The editors hope that this will be a useful resource for conductors and players as they rehearse and prepare this music. While the quality of music published by the various Salvation Army publishers is very high, the sheer volume of items issued throughout the years has allowed a number of errors to find their way into the publications. The database will be built primarily from visitor submissions.
For more information on this project, please read the overview (http://www.brasscrest.com/errata/).
The BRASS CREST is an independent site featuring news and information about brass bands, instruments and music, focusing on the Salvation Army brass band tradition. The site is NOT officially sanctioned or approved by any Salvation Army officer, center or command. Views expressed on The Brass Crest do not necessarily represent the position of the Salvation Army, and nothing on the site should be interpreted as a solicitation for contributions to any Salvation Army program.
