deleting calendar items

Having added the Folkestone Contest date to the calendar, I cannot now delete it - firstly, could someone do that? And then we need to consider the ability to edit/delete entries we have added.

Well, you "allow" us to add dates - surely you would want people to have the ability to edit changes to gigs and delete them when they get cancelled? (It will save you guys having to do it!)

I can't think of a good reason not to allow an edit off hand, but that's not to say someone else can't think of one! Leave it with us................
