We are based in Hertfordshire although many of our members come from across Bedfordshire and also from Cambridgeshire as well as Hertfordshire itself.

Hitchin Band are looking for a trombone player and back row cornet players to supplement our numbers.

We are currently third section and rehearse Monday and Thursday evening at North Herts College in Hitchin. We have recently appointed a new Musical Director, Craig Patterson and have a reasonably busy schedule in the run up to the end of the year.

Hitchin Band, National Finalists 2005 and 2nd section from January 2006 require a Musical Director for their friendly and ambitious band with a full concert programme.

Hitchin Band is currently looking for cornet players to supplement our numbers. Although all other positions are full, we have (for very good reasons - honest!) a gap in our cornet lineup.

We are particularly looking for Repiano and Solo cornets.

If you are interested in joining this dynamic second section band with a good programme of concerts and contests (just done Leicester, Butlins in January, area in March) including plans for a CD in 2007, please get in touch with us now!
