Warner Bros./IMP are very pleased to be able to release the Cd "John Williams : Epic Themes" at the RAH this weekend.

This cd contains 10 scintillating tracks from the pen of probably 'the' Hollywood Master, with many Academy Award nominations under his belt and known for hits such as Star Wars, Superman, E.T., Harry Potter and Jaws to name but a few. These tracks are all performed magnificently by the Fodens Richardson Band in their debut recording under their new MD, Thomas Wyss.

The full track listing is :-

1. Liberty Fanfare arr. Steve Sykes (as performed by Fodens at Birmingham's Symphony Hall)
2. Selections from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” arr. Steve Sykes
3. A Phantom Menace Suite
(Music from “Star Wars Episode I : The Phantom Menace” and “Star Wars Episode II : Attack of the Clones”) arr. Andy Duncan
4. Born on the Fourth of July arr. Andy Duncan
5. Overture ‘The Cowboys’ arr. Steve Sykes
6. Luke and Leia (from “Star Wars Episode VI : Return of the Jedi”) arr. Andy Duncan
7. Midway March arr. Ray Farr
8. Fanfare and Flying Theme (from “E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial”) arr. Steve Sykes
9. Fawkes the Phoenix (from “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”) arr. Andy Duncan
10. John Williams – Epic Themes
A Medley of John Williams favourites including Star Wars (Main Theme), March (1941), Imperial March (from “Star Wars Episode V : The Empire Strikes Back”), Olympic Spirit and Superman (Main Theme) arr. Steve Sykes

Every arrangement on this disc has been personally approved by John Williams himself giving, we hope, the most genuine transcriptions for brass bands. All titles are published by Warner Bros./IMP and are available through all Brass Band retailers.

Also released at the RAH this weekend is the new Brass Band demo cd from Warner Bros. giving 48 sample tracks from Mark Freeh, Andy Duncan, Steve Sykes, Ray Farr and all your other favourite Warner writers. Contact your usual brass band dealer for your copy.
