How do you attach / insert Smilies?

Hi

How do you attach / insert smilies? I keep trying, but I never seem able to get them to work.

By the way, in the box saying "Posting Rules", it does say that Smilies are On.

If anyone else has problems with this, go to your control panel, and change your settings to WISIWIG format (I have been in "Simple Edit" mode ever since I joined TMP).

OK, thanks for the update Brian.

For clarity though; you need to amend your settings in the UserCP in order to see the advanced post/thread editor, then you can click on this button http://www.themouthpiece.com/vb/images/satellite/editor/switchmode.gif to change from simple to advanced and back should you wish.
