Piece: Paganini Variations

Please remember I dont have a score!!

Very tidy and exciting start. No splits... well except for 1st euph note!!! Good though. All good stuff heard.

Nice muted ct section into trombone solo which was well played if a little loud. Cornets exciting on semi runs. Dynamic control is super before nightmare cornet section... good sop...

Ct runs and blending not so good there with a few erroneous entries. Cornet fanfare reserved in tempo, and it works nicely too because of it. Percussion a tad too loud...

Lovely solo work through all sections here especially Euphonium.

Some balance and intonation issues between sop and horn...

Flug does well on solo passage though the band is a little ragged to be honest and doesn't seem to support the soloists.

Nice moody section here, good razzes on Bass trom... basses do well also.

Finale: impressive playing here, now we are motoring and doing well. Fanfares are excellent from cts. troms excellent too... what a resounding finish.

Overall: a few too many blips to be honest, but a great rendition anyhow.
