The organizers of the Euro Brass Drachten Contest, the most important contest in the Netherlands besides the Nationals, have announced this year's line up, consisting of 16 bands. The contest will take place on Saturday 17 June.

The bands are divided in 3 sections. Also one overseas band will be making the trip to Drachten: Llay Welfare Band from Wales will compete in the C-section. These are the other contestants:
A-section:
Amsterdam Brass
Brass Band Schoonhoven
De Bazuin Oenkerk
Provinciale Brassband Groningen
Soli Brass
B-section:
De Bazuin B (Oenkerk)
De Lofklank (Ureterp)
Euphonia (Wolvega)
Excelsior (Ferwert)
Excelsior (Veenwoudsterwal)
Heman (Zuidwolde)
Martini Brassband
C-section:
Constantijn Huijgens (Appingedam)
De Bazuin (Ureterp)
Immanuël (Eemsmond)
Llay Welfare Band (Wrexham, Wales)
Robert Childs will be one of the two adjudicators for the contest.
