Help!

Can anyone help me please?

I'm maybe being thick here, but how do I stop an email being sent to me every time a posting is made to a thread to which I've subscribed?

I've gone into my Profile - "Edit Options" , "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and have tried selecting and saving both "No email notification" and "Do not subscribe", but I'm still getting scores of emails rattling into my inbox! :-?

Hmmm... try unsubscribing from the thread itself Harold. Yoy shouldn't get an email each time someone replies - only when there is a reply after you have read the latest posts in the thread.

I seem to remember I had the same problem and it only changed those after I had made that change. If you go into your UserCP click on "view all subscribed threads" next to each it tells you the notification for each thread. If you tick the box next to each thread that shows anything other than "None" and then go right to the bottom where it says "selected threads" it usually says "move to folder" you can change this to "no email subscription" and I found it updated everything already in my subscribed threads.

:D Thanks guys - sorted now!

"No email notification" didn't work. I had to wade through all of my threads and un-subscribe from each one. Took ages, but worked.
