It's been a long time since I took a look around this site.
So, a very belated 'hello' from me.
I currently play with a local village band as principal but that will be coming to an end at the end of this year as I'll be moving away. After 20 years or so that'll be a shock.
We'll see how things work out, but I might start looking for a band in the Banbury area in the autumn.
Some history: school trumpet lessons from the age of 12 (a long time ago) started it all. Since then I've played in small groups, orchestras, wind bands, big bands and brass bands. I'm also currently playing in a party band, covering Blues Brothers numbers and the like.
I play on a Sovereign cornet (the band's), an Olds Studio trumpet and a Courtois flugel, all using Stork mouthpieces.
