Just to get in on all the food polls!

What's your favourite brand of chocolate? For me it has to be anything Cadbury's.

I HATE Nestle chocolate!!!!!

I was the biggest chocoholic ever a few months ago. I used to eat at least one bar everyday, and I wasn't really fussy about the make however I did consume more cadbury's than anything else. Some chocolate I find slightly sickly like galaxy.
However I don't know what happened but I don't eat it hardly at all any more. I tink I ate so much that I reversed the effect of loving it to it not even bothering me. I tries to see how long I could go without and I last 2days, now I can go weeks![/u]

Yep, for me in this country it has to be Cadbury. However, can't beat good continental dark choclate with a high cocoa solid content.
By the way, white chocolate is a candy not a choclate (strictly speaking).

No. Chocolate everytime. Cant be beaten, though i dont tend to east much pure chocolate anymore. Giving it up along with just about everything else containing sugar (and alcohol!) for lent got me off the habit.

Yep, Nestle does it for me, too! My fave is Kit Kat Chunky. For a special treat, you can't beat a box of Thornton's Continentals.

I didn't used to like chocolate that much cos i only had at the most four pieces and it made me really sick. I like it alot more now and my fav has to be CADBURY'S. :wink:

For the ultimate hot chocolate sauce melt 1 large bar of dairymilk (the size that costs about £1.20) together with 1 pint double cream, a knob of butter and a large splash of Dooleys together. Do this in a bowl placed over a pan of boiling water. Stir constantly and you'll end up with a thick glossy sauce that tastes gorgeous. It keeps well in fridge and can be heated up in a microwave for future use.

has anyone tried the organic divine chocolate bars??? would never think of eatin organic but theyve just put an organic vendin machine at coll as well as the normal one and there was nuthin left in the normal one and after a particulary gruelling double english i needed chocolate and i have now dumped the normal vending machine and am in love with divine bars!!! :)

organic means they aint used chemicals, insecticides etc in their growing of whatever it is - they hav 2 b free 5 years b4 they can call themselves organic i think.

as 4 chocolate, as long as it's not they manky american "chocolate" (no offense to us people i just cant stand the choc!), any sort any time! :D
