Start times for WOE 4th and Championship Sections

After looking at the time schedule for the 4th and Championship section don't seem to add up.

The 4th Section starts at 9.00am with 3 draws normally with a break for the adjudicator after band 9 or 10 for 30 mins there are 27 bands approx 20mins per band so 3 per hour = 9 Hrs finish approx 6.30pm then results 7.00 ish but the time for the Championship section to start is 4.00 in the same hall on the same day doesn't quite add up there are 12 band in the Championship so approx 30 mins per band 2 per hour so 6 hours this could see the section finish approx 1.00 to 2.00 am on Monday morning

It depends on whether you work the fourth section on three or four bands / hour. With four / hour, 27 bands would take 6 3/4 hours so if the section starts at 9:00am it will finish at around 4:00pm. It depends on the length of the fourth section piece, and how much percussion is needed and provided. If the piece is less than, say, 12 minutes long and most of the kit is already on stage then four bands / hour should be achievable.

Adding in a 30-minute break, and giving time for the results etc it should be over by 5:00pm

I would say a fair average for the championship section would be three bands / hour (more kit, longer piece) which is four hours for twelve bands. So you could realistically assume the section would be over by around 9:30-10:00pm ish.
