Over the last 2 weeks, our members have been registering their votes in our annual awards. It is now time to announce the winners for 2005:






tMP 'Fun' Awards:

1 - Funniest Post - tMP Comedian Award

2 - Funniest Thread - tMP Team Player Award (awarded to the thread starter)

17 - Band of the Year - tMP Best Band Award
Winner: The tMP Band

18 - Bandsperson of the Year - tMP Service Award
Winner: Briony Thompson

19 - Website of the Year - tMP www Award (nominations to come from WoM winners)
Winner: Internet Bandsman's Everything Within

A huge congratulations to all our winners.

As most of you are aware, there was an additional category not voted for by tMPers - the tMP Special Award for contribution to the movement - the inaugural recipient of this very special award will be announced shortly - so please keep an eye out on the main tMP Home Page for further details.

Thanks to everyone for supporting BBA and especially the CD, for without your support, there is no BBA.
Its great to pitched next to Glyn! where the hec does JooBoo come from Glyn?.......smiles. speak to you soon mate and well done its a cracking CD apart from you venturing into trombone of course!

From Briony, Sophie, Steve, all of the trustess, all the players and bands who took part and everyone else involved in BBA thankyou once again.

Hi everyone, Briony here not dad, I cant remember my password, so using dads account until I get round to sorting mine out.
I want t o thank everyone who voted for brass band aid and Alex for nominating me. I am really really pleased, its great thanks.
But I must say, I cant be the Bands person of the year as there were more people than me involved, in fact everyone who has taken part is a Bands Person of the Year, so, I will share the award with everyone. I hope this is ok?

I have to go now, its bed time, well my dad siad it is anyway!

- to be fair, John has been doing a lot of work on the site since the start of the year and hopefully he'll get round to this soon. I made up a set as samples to help his situaton (they might not be the official ones though!).
