Hi All
Some of you might have seen my recent advertisement in the latest edition of Brass Band World magazine... or maybe not as the case may be...!! :?
However, would you mind selecting an option from the above - it is all valuable information for me and will undoubtedly help determine which is the best way for me to promote theMouthPiece.com and try to grow our membership. The best way to get interesting, stimulating, diverse and thought provoking discussion is through a wide and varied membership.
Hope you agree....
Please feel free to add comments if you select 'other' from the above list. It's ALWAYS good to know how people hear about us.
Thanks in advance ... :D
You'd been busy posting in our guestbook...

Some members have said they have seen mention of theMouthPiece.com on the excellent 4barsRest site. Can anyone veryify this for me please? has anyone seen mention of us on 4BR? If so, can you give a reference.
If it is true, most grateful to our guys at 4BR for the mention... :D
Thanks.

Nick asked me yesterday what beebop was for, although I have spelt it wrong because barny"bebop" was already taken as an hotmail account.
It's a type of jazz man!! Even the Maestro was asking Nick what it was, some Maestro. And I thought they were supposed to be Muscians. DOH!!

And to boot, all the members of the band sporty lovely shiny nail varnish on their fingers - opps - here is an example.

Through a joke (sort of!)
There was a piece of old music we were playing, and it said it was published or something be the mouthpiece. I asked what it was and our MD said it used to be a popular magazine.
We were all taking the p*** out of it, and saying about how it could be used on 'Have I Got News for You', but I wondered if it had a forum, as I'd been looking for a BB forum for a while. I searched, and this is what I got!!!

You know that factoid that you're never more than 6 feet away from a rat at any time??? Similar thing is true about Wem players/explayers/someone who knows someone who once played for Wem. I personally saw the light when told by a certain Mr. Thorne.

I am to blame for many many things (allegedly...)
Incidentally, perhaps I'm "bait" - our MD told the audiences at our recent concerts that he is sending me over to Ireland as bait to bring back a certain cornet player......

Auto suggestion I think, never new what they were on about at band when they kept mentioning "the mouthpiece" thought it must be some God of the band world, then some young men in dark suits came a knocking at my door and I was shown the light, the correct path. Conversion was complete, but my what a strange place it is at times, some contributors seem to speak a strange new tongue, can't everyone just be normal, like me?

I heard about the Mouthpiece via one or two other band members a short while since, but being very much a forum hog on the net, I left joining for a while, as being on forum admin' on a poetry forum (yes I write poetry) as well as a member on some other general topic forums, I felt I had enough on my plate as it was. Then last week I am voted in as press officer for Darwen Brass. So decided it was about time to come along and say hello.
