You can go to control panel, then select keyboard, and you can change the setting of your keyboard layout to British...

You can go to control panel, then select keyboard, and you can change the setting of your keyboard layout to British...

Not quite as simple as that - it's not a PC, only a terminal, running off a central server, so the only time you can access the keyboard settings is by logging the terminal off and then on again. I've reset the other 15 terminals on the system with the correct settings but for some reason one of them keeps defaulting. Makes it difficult to keep records of finances when you haven't got a ££ sign (note- I have on this terminal)

In any case I'm still not sure it's possible to access 'special characters' on tMP is it?

Å........ OK perhaps it is.
