We would certainly welcome marching bands to come & compete, & hopefully it will go ahead next year & for years after, so if you are interested in taking part, please call the contact number above.
Meltham is a small village about 4 miles out of Huddersfield town, you could easily get directions by going onto multimap or similar websites, why not come this year to see what you'd be letting your band in for?!

Best Hymn: Marsden. 95 pts, Whitburn
Best March: Marsden. 94 pts, Honest Toil

A pleasant, if insufferably windy and cold contest. I played with Old Silkstone and Old Silkstone 'B' and had a good evening. Thought Marsden deserved the victory, I think OS left their best performance in Meltham band room to be honest!
