The annual Holme Valley Contest takes place this Sunday in the village of Holmfirth, about 7 miles south of Huddersfield.
There are 14 bands entered across 3 sections who each play an own choice testpiece and hymn tune.
The draw takes place at 11.30am and the contest starts at 12.30pm.
Results are expected around 6.30pm and the traditional march of bands through the village takes place at approx 7.30pm
