When you say someone is a loner... llike.. "he's sittin on his lonesome.."

Do you say...

He's sittin on his Bill?

Or he's sittin on his Larry?

I regualrly get into arguments don't I?? :mad:

Well this one is with Nuke..! He's really stubborn and won't agree with me.:mad: when obviously I'm going to win this one.:rolleyes:. Because I won the pink red one a while ago as well! :tongue:

Lol!

Please go ahead and vote.. !!

:wink::rolleyes::biggrin::clap:

We call them Scots

As in scot no friends, but we dont say their sitting on the their scot, just that they are a scot.

Does that make sense?

Have not heard of calling them Bill or Larry.

Have heard of Molly Malone tho :rolleyes:

Its either billy no mates or sat on their todd! why is it always a blokes name?

TIMBONE

Wow, I had never thought of this, but yea, "on your tod", "on the bill", (which became "billy no mates"), and of course the cockney rhyming slang, "on his jack jones". I'm afraid Larry though, whether he is on his own or not, is "happy".
