There is another thread about who is going but who is going to win come sunday night?
My top six is

Don't just do the top four, that's too easy (on paper mind, lots of people picked the usual suspects before the contest and look what happened). My predictions:
1) Fairey
2) B&R
3) YBS
4) Leyland (optimism never hurt anyone!)
5) Fodens
6) Sellers
Probably nothing like, but then who cares? :dunno

The draw will make a difference and, of course, the segment pre-draw was undertaken yesterday. From what I've heard, one of the "name" or fancied bands may have a more favourable draw than the others who are bunched up in one segment. Mind you, I better not say much more as it is only a rumour and it may be wrong but it did come from a player in once of the "name" bands.
All I know is at least my band wont be drawn No 1, (phewee!)
Anybody heard anything about possible adjudicators?

I have sobered up, but still waiting for voice to return! I regards to my prediction, I had a feeling we may come higher, but didn't want to jinx it! When we first got the piece out, Mike Fowles said it was perfect for us, we had all the right corner men and there was no reason we couldn't be the champs. Seems he was right!

yup well done Leyland... but I think we should sack the concert next year... we were also pretty *beeped* off at the fact that there was no beer till around 9pm!! NOT GOOD.. :(
I've just read the adjudicators comments on 4barsrest.
It amazes me that 3 peoples opinions can differ so much.
It certainly puts into perspective all those 'dodgy' contest results now!

Too right Andy, it's the only way to be. Give it your best and if it's not good enough try harder next time. It's taken a few years to get that conclusion though! :)
